Five years when it had been established, The St John's Medical College captive into a large 170-acre field in June 1968. SJMC Admissions: to Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses are based on merit obtained in the Entrance Test conducted on an all India basis. 80% of the seats are reserved for General merit candidates. 15% of the seats are reserved for NRI / NRI sponsored and foreign nationals. 5% of the seats are reserved under institutional preference quota.
Students who have completed 10+2 with good marks in academics. CET or COMED-K Exams to be compulsory taken. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized board. For SC/St the qualifying marks should be 40% instead of 50% marks.
